At long last, Los Angeles based powernoise artist Fractured Transmission proudly unfurls brand new material in collaboration with Signifier. "A Willing Suspension of Disbelief" unforgivingly punctures the long silence between 2008's "Rise Of The Archetype" (Mechanismz) and now.
Since 2004, American audio and visual designer Nick Viola has composed Fractured Transmission's signature cocktail of harsh distorted rhythms and darkly textured synth. Quickly establishing the project as one of the most sonically dense artists of the L.A. industrial noise scene, Fractured Transmission gained momentum due to club and radio play, live performances, and an emerging fan base that helped spread the word.
With dozens of remix tracks to his credit, numerous compilation appearances over the last few years, and limited run EP's including an outstanding collaboration with Embodi, Fractured Transmission is ready to drop its second full length release on unsuspecting listeners.
"A Willing Suspension of Disbelief" is the artist's attempt to sonically digest, interpret and extrude uncomfortable social situations and the human condition into a crunchy and highly energetic sonic assault that will leave the listener eager for the next round. The record is a statement album intended to be the soundtrack to the cycle of self-destructive behavior and the eventual reformation of the individual.
