ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Love Like An Ocean" shows that there is a lighter side even to serious faith issues. In six upbeat and lightly humorous Contemporary Christian songs, the Reverend Franklyn Schaefer takes up every-day faith issues ranging from a Christian's struggle to get up for church on Sunday mornings to "fessing up" to one's faith in every day life.

According to the Reverend Franklyn, “we’re all struggling with our faith at times and it’s perfectly alright to look at that and chuckle at ourselves. Laughing at ourselves is therapeutic; it’s so encouraging to know that we’re not alone in our struggles with a radically demanding gospel message.”

The CD ends on a worshipful note with two songs that celebrate our Creator God and our Good Shepherd (based on Psalm 23) who promised to be there for us, even beyond the end of time.
