Album Notes
Frantic Clam began half a world away in the summer of 2007 when guitarist, Zack Hadley and bassist, Joe Sparks were deployed to Iraq with the US Army. During their 15 month deployment, the two became close friends and began collaborating on new material.

Upon returning to Austin in the winter of 2007, they began recording their first EP titled “Celebrity” which they self-released in September 2008. Earlier that Spring, percussionist Vasanth Coorg and guitarist Jack Reid joined the band to complete the quintet. Presently, they are working on their second EP titled, "Anatomica."

Frantic Clam has played shows in Austin at venues including The Parlor, Trophy's, Plush, Red Eyed Fly, Headhunters and The Carousel Lounge. Future plans include shows in Houston, Dallas/Ft Worth, and San Antonio. Their sophomore release, Anatomica, is scheduled for release on January 15th, 2009.
