ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
'If you've never seen the movie, then you missed out on all the fun... like the scene where Ned Beatty squealed like a pig, you know the one'... (opening lyrics)

Originally recorded in 1999, 'West Virginia Medley" is inspired by the 1972 film "Deliverance". The song is actually a three part medley that opens with the 'squeal like a pig' scene from 'Deliverance'. Part two is a nod to U2's song 'Mysterious Ways', except changed to 'Incestuous Ways' the story of Jethro and his sister who wander off behind the shed at dinnertime, and are caught in a compromizing situation. The medley wraps up with a parody version of the 'Squeeze' song 'Tempted' gone completeley wrong.

All instruments, music and lyrics performed and arranged by Fred Blankenburg 1999, 2012.

Fred Blankenburg is the creator of "Penny and the PineCone People" (Children's Music) and has over 18 million views on Flipnote Hatena/ Nintendo. Fred is the true Vanilla Ice of acoustic rock.
