Freddie Muñoz is a Puerto Rican-American musician, singer-songwriter and producer. Born in
Catano, Puerto Rico and raised in New York city, where he absorbed all types of music. Starting
in the music world as a DJ, Freddie developed an incredible ear. This talent has served him well,
enabling him to compose wonderfully melodic songs that make you take notice. Freddie is best
described as a soulful singer whose voice is contagious, smooth and seductive. Still based in New
York, Muñoz released his full-length, self-distributed debut album, Amiga in 2008. The album title's hit track
climbed the Tropical radio play lists. His latest release Un Poquito is a strong melodic bachata album,
recorded in Dominican Republic, with some of the best musicians on the island. His admiration for his
the childhood sounds of El Grand Combo, Marc Anthony, and Hector Lavoe is evident in his music.
Freddie is constantly touring the world, delivering his unique soulful sound to fans of the Latin Tropical genre.
