From the silence a waltz rings, clear as the sound of an accordion. It takes the air, growing, embracing us,loughing and smiling. It dances, looping in the air, loghing and smiling. It penetrates our hearts and minds and finally brings us a lightness so subtle us to free. For it is clear that there are ancient and efficacious medicines that our elders once knew to perfection and that we have forgotten. For the modern composition and performance of the waltz, as exemplified by Fulvio Redeghieri, is much, much more than a throwback to nostalgia. It is the rediscovery of a rythm that instils beauty in our lives, that sheds the weight of our woes, that anables us to rediscover our true selves. It helps us listen to our roots, to enrich the fertile memory tha alone can offer us the fruit of hope and believe in the future. The path of our true traditions; traditions that hold the key if we are to understand our future. So thanks be for this rediscovery of the waltz, today's waltz, things of beauty, as something that can still regale us moments of serenity.
...A life wholly coloured by a waltz would be an undeniably good life. Alas we can not. But in such little mesure as we can, why not?
