Album Notes
This is Funky Blues Messiahs second CD. On this Cd they pick up the story line where they left off on the first one. With guest appearances from Liberty DeVitto ( Billy Joel, Elton John ) and Charlie DeChant (Hall and Oates), they have built an explosive new CD of exciting New Orleans influenced music.

These guys know how to cook up a groove!
This CD is alive and kicking! There is something about the general "feel" of the music, the sound and the rhythm that draws you in and never lets you go. Blues injected funk? Yeah, i think that is a pretty good description of the music featured on this disc. I'm a soul/funk/acid jazz fan, and blues isn't really my cup of tea (although this CD has stirred my interest in the genre). However, this stuff really blew me away. Very tight, very groovy.

The songs are arranged really nicely. Some of them are connected by snippets of moody and uplifting dialogue.

The musicians are brilliant, completely in harmony with the music. The vocalist is one of the best I have ever heard (any category!).

I would love to see these guys live.

I highly recommend it!
As usual, my brother's suggestion was right on target. I usually listen to this at work. I'm going on a road trip and this CD will definitely come along with me. It picks me up and puts me in a good mood. The muscians are tight, the vocals are fun, the sound it great. I recommend this to anyone who wants a great CD to enjoy.
