ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In 2012, singer-songwriter, Matthew Price joined with Christiana Zollner to form the folk duo, Gallon House. Thoughtfully-crafted songs delivered with airtight harmonies are peppered with Christiana's fiddle playing over the rhythm of Matt's acoustic guitar. Their namesake, a covered bridge between Matt and Christiana’s hometowns earned its name by being used as a moonshine drop between the once-“dry” town of Silverton and the “wet” town of Mt. Angel. Just like the moonshiners before them, Matt and Christiana deliver a product that makes your heart glad. They recorded their debut full-length album with producer, Rob Stroup. True to their live performance, the album is driven by Matt's acoustic guitar and Christiana's violin as the two deliver duets with lyrics that playfully interlace and harmonize.
