ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Definitely perked my ears up!"
- Kevin Skinner, RollingStone Magazine

Singer/songwriter Sean Galuszka guest-starred on MIRACLES (ABC) playing "Garth", a local rocker. Producer David Greenwalt was impressed with Sean's original music and the show licensed two of his songs. Since then, Sean's music can be heard on CBS' GHOST WHISPERER, Kiros' Pictures SISSY FRENCHFRY (soundtrack features four of his original songs), SONY's Kramer CD Box Set, and more.

Sean has formed www.myspace.com/musicfortheroad- Acoustic, Alternative Rock

His forthcoming self-titled CD -"ROADMOVIE"
- chronicles of a 16 year old runaway pyromaniac- will be available soon, but in the meantime, visit the site to get a hold of a 5 song demo (an advance copy).

Sean's live solo CD "Smoker" is definitely a journey for the audience designed with a beginning, middle and an end.

From a buyer:
"I listened to Smoker on my way to visit my brother. I actually cried. Your voice -- rough edges and smooth crests at the same time. You walk a really thin line between hard-edged humor and real honest emotion. That's a hard one to walk, and you do it exceptionally well."

Although it's intended to be heard "live", without interruption, each song still stands on it's own.

Sean hails from Central NY with a BS in Acting/Directing from Syracuse University.

Upon graduating, he landed the lead role "Jean" in the critically acclaimed PBS AMERICAN PLAYHOUSE presentation of MISS JULIE.

After the project wrapped, Sean decided to travel...
the entire United States.

He packed a VW van and covered a twenty-state tour in ten months playing guitar and performing his unique blend of spoken word and acoustic rock from NYC to Houston to Los Angeles. Ending up in Hollywood with $20, Sean worked to get an apartment and has been West Coast based ever since.

THE reviewer

Velvety voice with a touch of John Mayer
Easy to listen to. Captivating voice that holds you. Smooth.

Daddy's Little Girl

Folk Music for Firebugs
S.G. displays kind of like a male pyromaniac Ani DiFranco persona on this live album, which is good but not great...but definitely original....

Darlene

Smooth music, nice voice, relaxing yet fun
I think had I seen the performance live it would have been better, and more comprehendable. In all, I liked it and will definately check out his new one he is suppose to have coming out soon.

Self-Made Performers review

Sean Galuszka has a style and wit peerless among today's live performers
Sean Galuszka's live recording 'Smoker' is a must have for the listener and the new-to-the-scene performer alike. His wit, spoken word and musical melodies combine to create a truly entertaining and provocative recording. In the tradition of such great performance artists as Rosenthal and Laurie Anderson, with the grit and energy of a young Springsteen. Smoker is clearly a keeper. Guaranteed NOT to disappoint.

Big Man Restless

David Gray meets John Mayer meets Patti Smith
I caught Sean at Molly Malone's in Los Angeles and was astounded by the power of his performance. He captured the attention of the jaded bar patrons with his stunning rock athem "What You Want". The song that hooked me into a fan was "Road Movie" a bittersweet homage to the lost generation. This recording successfully captures the live energy from his Los Angeles gigs. Looking forward to his next.
