Album Notes
Coming out of the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the CHANGE album, available in both CD and DVD, was produced by the Gates Praise Music label of the First Church of the Open Bible, Trinidad, West Indies. CHANGE is the fulfillment of a prophecy given to the Pastor, Cecil Quamina, from Isaiah 60:18 “Thou shalt call thy walls salvation and thy gates praise.” The Church, one of over seventy churches of the Open Bible organization on the island, currently has a membership of over four thousand (4,000), and is connected with Open Bible Churches internationally.
This group of singers and musicians is well known and respected, and has led worship for Caribbean and International conferences featuring Fred Hammond, Dr. Creflo Dollar, Dr. Myles Munroe, Dr. Cindy Trimm, and Psalmist Micah Stampley, and has also travelled to Aruba, Holland, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Suriname and New York.
This album features some of the island’s indigenous music, and the steel pan instrument which originated in Trinidad and Tobago. CHANGE is the first of many live worship recordings planned by the Church. The album has 12 tracks all written by members of the First Church of the Open Bible.
