ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Change the World, the fourth album from GEMnEYE, takes you on a journey through 13 original songs of life that illustrate the power that each individual has to make a difference. Songs run from up-tempo rockers to ballads, and everything in between, all featuring the vocals of Nate and Jim.

The opening track, The River, starts with a low bass line and builds to a rousing finish. "Take the river to the water's end. Where that is nobody knows." Other rockers include Don't Shoot, Save Me, and the album title track. On the mellower side, The Seven Steps evokes memories of falling in love in Costa Rica, while Wash Me, River Jordan follows a child's journey to America. Follow Your Spirit is a catchy tune that looks at traveling through New England. Wishing and Free describe Jim's first trip to Gettysburg Battlefield. I'm Home Tonight is about the joy of finding love. All the Way to Bethlehem tells us that it's not the destination, but the journey that matters. The album closes with the rousing Shine a Light and a brief reprise of Save Me.
