Album Notes
It's believed by the artist that any great hip hop album is a prophetic vision and not just a well marketed brand. "In Gen... Newity" is Gen See's debut album dedicated to her unborn child, her most important legacy. Ironically, she came up with the title six months prior to conceiving her son Hunter Cloud. She is two months pregnant in the album cover. Inventing a style all her own, she is a midwife of new ideas and strives to push the genre the include her own unique point of view. She seeks to create hip hop music that is not only woman friendly but empowering to include womens' perspectives as powerful, complex and intelligent without threatening the male dominant infrastructure rap music has become. When it's all said in done, like any artist her main goal is create good music.
