Spider Robinson

Fame is his name--and he earned it!
Georgie Fame is the real deal, what the doctor ordered and why the preacher danced. The first artist ever to knock the Beatles out of the Number One slot--with a JAZZ tune by Jon Hendricks, no less!--he is still Paul McCartney's favorite musician....and not just because it was at a Georgie Fame set in The Bag O' Nails that Sir Paul got up to go to the loo, and bumped into a blonde named Linda Eastman. This is one of Georgie's very best studio albums, and that's saying something, as all the other CDs of his that are available here at cdbaby are also outstanding. Dig him before you die....and if you die in a state of grace, you'll be digging him AFTER that, too: I'm quite sure he's on God's iPod.
