PT (pronounced Peet´ ee) founded The Ghost Notes after traveling the world and getting paid to harass people for several years. Having had many diverse vocations, he has a wealth of real world experience to draw from for songwriting and performing. From his first stage performance at age 5, this New Jersey native has always moved forward to follow his passion.

Emerging out of the ashes of the progressive rock band Forte (Hamilton, New Jersey), PT joined forces with Slim Pickins and Buck Naked from the now-dissolved alternative rock band, Underwater (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), in the late 1990’s. Thus, PT & The Ghost Notes were born. PT recruited additional vocalists Billy Jean and Destiny to complete the band. These five souls began work in the Alarm Records’ Chapel Hill recording studio A, and in May 2000, PT & The Ghost Notes released their debut album.

Five months later, PT left his career in international quality assurance and regulatory compliance of medical devices to pursue his passion for music. By January 2001, PT & The Ghost Notes had received radio airplay for seven songs on the "I Know What I Want" album and performed their first live broadcast interviews. PT & The Ghost Notes achieved radio prime time airplay by the end of the year in Louisville, KY.

Late in 2002, PT & The Ghost Notes struggled to stay earth bound and vanished in Birmingham, AL. Rumor has it that PT went underground, but the truth is he went underwater to swim with the fishes (as a PADI certified diver). You may also find PT kicking around the neighborhood of his Florida home.

If you're looking for some creative and meaningful music that actually sounds good, listen closely to PT & The Ghost Notes. There is more than meets the eye and ear.

I love your CD!
I love your CD! It is so great that I can not put it down. I love your songs and your sexy voice.

I think we need more musicians like you...
I just wanted to tell you I was, and still am, amazed at your words. They (for the most part) are really very meaningful and truthful. I think we need more musicians like you who are actually trying to say something with their music.

Brett Lupton, WXNR, 99.5 FM New Bern, NC

I particularly like this band...
They are very good. I particularly like this guys have a different sound, something that this world needs. All too often, bands are cookie-cutter and not unique, but you guys certainly defy that trend. I would love to do an interview with you sometime.

Larry Pickett, NBC-TV, Channel 17, Raleigh, NC

Enjoying the album.
Enjoying the album. Different from what I usually listen to...the overall sound and production is good, and the CD has been in my car for a while now. The songs are growing on me - the albums that take longest to get into are usually the ones I come back to...I hope to see more!
