Who DOESN'T love the cello? Few instruments beat out the cello for its passionate, emotionally gripping voice that reaches inside your soul and does some rearranging. These fresh new compositions featuring cello will take you through the worlds of contemporary classical, light classical jazz and the flavors of the Middle East. A perfect centerpiece for your contemplation.

I bought this recording some time ago...I am still listening to it and find it refreshing each time. Great work!

I really enjoy this cd. I am a student and it is great to study to. Some really interesting, lovely songs.

Original Jazz/Classical Compositions Are Very Beautiful and Original
While all of the music on the CD is well performed - the two pieces that really stand out are the jazz/classical compositions by the artist featuring strings and percussion. After listening just a few times, I find the melodies floating through my mind while I work, and I wish there were more of them on the CD!

Cello Out
there simply is not enough cello music being performed by new, capable artists. Gianna may not be new to some, but to most. Superb interpretation and talent makes this a must-pick for those whose hearts are lifted by this magnificant instrument. wonderful for Sunday morning coffee (or tea, if you're high-brow).

Lovely blend of moods
I love the cello and really enjoy this CD with its variety of music, moods and known and less known songs.

This CD plays on repeat--you can't get enough
There is just something about this CD that makes it stay in my player for days on end. The mix of styles and sounds make it soothing and stimulating at the same time.

Very Nice!
Ms. Abondolo has collaborated with some great musicians to perform several works(some with a twist) which many of us know. The "modernized" arrangements bring her cello to the fore with distinction and excellent musicianship.

Beautiful Cello playing
I love the cello and have a number of cello CD's in my collection. Gianna's disc contains some of he most wonderful playing I have heard. It is truely a beautiful sound that she produces. She has also chosen her repertoir carefully so that makes for a great album.
