First album of “percussion mestre” Giuliano Lucarini, it’s a kaleiodscopic tribute to Brazilian, African and Italian traditional music, all merged on a rock-funky background. On Northeast Brazilian percussion rythms such as samba de coco, maracatu, cavalo marinho, ciranda, or African djembe and Italian “tammorra”, spread a modern sound with electric guitar and bass .
The songs, inspired on work chants, are translated in a roman “stornello” traditional style.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Bruno Avramo, at Formadonda Studio, Rome.
