ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
THE GO SET

" A more punk rock Roaring Jack, more cohesive than the Dropkick Murphys, a less dour Billy Bragg, and a more pub-rock take on The Pogues...." Rolling Stone, May 2006

The Go Set are fast becoming an institution. Combining elements of traditional music in the bagpipes, mandolin, violin, and accordian, with 70's punk guitars, and social conscience and politically poignant lyrics - The Go Set are a unique Australian band.

The band recently recorded its second album 'The Hungry Mile' with producer and Radio Birdman frontman Rob Younger, and has released the album to rave reviews as its tour winds its way around the country.

It is a dynamic, interactive, and emotive live experience not to be missed. In coming months The Go Set are scheduled to tour the USA and Europe.

Not a bad product
This cd didn't strike me well at first, especially compared to sing a song of revolution, but the closer I listened, the more I liked it. Overall, a quality project, definitely add it to your collection.
