Album Notes
The Glassell Park3 is a bicycle mechanic, a blacksmith and some crazy kid who rides in vans with bands on tour and sells stuff for them or something along those lines(?) who play their own wild mix of punk, blues and rock and roll. Their shows, whether it is the two or three of them playing, resemble some kind of sweaty Pentecostal revival (without actually being one, of course). They play with everything they have in them, while surrounded by their friends (old and new), family and neighbors – a variegated mix of musicians, artists, teachers, mechanics, bike messengers, home(less) wash dwellers, students, preachers, chefs, construction workers, loafers, film makers, welders, and many others – all from which GP3 pulls its live inspiration and energy.

I agree with the first poster the recording is definitely low quality but an absolutely fantastic record that I would recommend to everyone into the bluegrass/punk genre. Looking forward to a new record and maybe some show dates in lawrence,ks

low quality recording but im still giving a 5
You can tell that the cd was produced on a low budget, but the songs are so damn catchy. Very talented blues/punk band, Id love to hear more.
