I’m glad our paths have crossed today...
As Christian brothers and sisters, I'm sure you will agree - now is not the time to grow weary in our walk with God. This day and age we live in demands, now even more than ever, that we draw near to God. Time is short and our calling is clear and we must step up to the task our Father has given us.
Do NOT be fooled! The enemy of this world is working overtime to take control of our minds, will, and emotions. The attack doesn’t stop there… the enemy and his helpers are also after our relationships, family members and loved ones, our finances, our talents and time, our bodies and health, and ultimately our spirit and eternal salvation.
Are you with me? As Christians we are called to be strong, in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. We are to endure all things and stand faithful to the end that others may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
A pressing into God and His Word is NOT recommended, but REQUIRED!
True soldiers are faithful, loyal, and committed. What type of soldier are you in the kingdom of God?
As soldiers of the kingdom of God, we are under authority of the King of kings, and we should live submitted to Him. By the blood of Jesus, God has sealed us with the Holy Spirit of promise, and called us according to His purpose! We should claim our position and walk in confidence and full assurance that what the Almighty God has promised WILL COME TO PASS.
My heart is sad to see the ranks of fellow Christians thinning, time and time again, as they grow weary in well doing. Let us not be caught sleeping, but let us press toward the prize of the High Calling that is in Christ Jesus.
The truth is: As Christians we know we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but the real battle is against the powers and rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness. This is a spiritual battle and we must fight with spiritual weapons and put on the whole armor of God to withstand the evil in these days.
Let me get right to the point. We must keep the sword of the Spirit sharpened in our lives.
What is the sword of the Spirit?
The Word of God.
“The Word of God is Full of Living Power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are.” Hebrews 4:12
How do we keep the sword of the Spirit sharp in our life?
By RENEWING OUR MINDS DAILY!
“Be not conformed to this world, but be renewed by the transforming of your mind. “ Romans 12:2
It is no secret that many teachers, Christian and non-Christian alike; teach of the battle going on in our minds. Why? Because this is of key importance to the quality of our life and the Bible has much to say about it.
It is critical to get control of your thought life!
“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7
Your identity in Christ is the first critical area to renew your mind in and get understanding. This is foundational. Find out what the Word of God says about you. There are over 130 verses in the Bible with expressions such as ‘in Him’, ‘in Christ’, ‘in Whom’, ‘through Christ’, etc.
As far as God is concerned, everything you have or are ‘in Christ’ is already so. He has done it. Everything that the Bible says is ours – is ours. God wants us to know and enjoy the reality of what He has provided.
We can have what the Bible says. It is His Covenant with us. It is a legal document sealed by the blood of Jesus.
Yet, just because the promises of our inheritance in the will of God are made available to us - they are not just going to show up on our front door step. It is our job to use our faith and believe and confess the promises to make them a manifested reality in our lives.
If any of this rings true for you, I urge you to start today and take the ‘in Him’, ‘in Christ’ scripture verses and turn them into confessions or affirmations. Then fill your mind and meditate on them. Think on them and begin to speak them so they can get planted in your heart.
A spiritual law too few realize and value: Our confessions rule us. I’m not talking here about confessing sin, but the positive side of confession; the confession of our faith, which the Bible has much more to say about.
Bear in mind, you don’t need this meditation tool to do it. Simply write the scripture confessions out and read them aloud to yourself daily.
This Christian meditation audio, CHRISTIAN MEDITATION: RENEW YOUR MIND IN HIM, is simply a resource tool. This is a tool I personally created for myself and I believe will also benefit you.
I spent many, many, hours digging out these recommended verses from the Bible and personalizing them into affirmations. I began by writing them down and reading them aloud. I then recorded myself so I could listen to them over and over.
And I have to say … it has been some of the most well spent time of my life! I just wish I did it sooner. (Actually, I’m embarrassed to admit, but my pastor recommended writing them out and confessing them regularly for several years before I finally did it. I had the list of scriptures and even bought a special notebook for the study, but just kept putting it off…)
I’m so glad I finally did. It has helped me overcome personal anxieties, fears, and insecurities. It has helped give me stability and build up my confidence. I had a real difficult season when it seemed like everything hit the fan. Change in employment, financial stress, the challenges of parenting teenagers, and just plain overwhelmed as a single parent trying to keep it all together.
Some of the days I battled through and wanted to give up and throw in the towel. But I would make myself listen to these verses on what the Word of God had to say about me and my situation. After even a short time of meditating on the truth of God’s Word I would get stirred up and be encouraged – and I still do.
Discovering these verses and beginning to grasp an understanding of how they apply to my life has been extremely empowering. Really, I don’t see how a person can get in the Word and not get empowered.
Since this has been such a benefit to me, I felt inspired to make it available to other Christians that are hungry to get the Word of God in them and also want to meditate on His Word.
CHRISTIAN MEDITATION: RENEW YOUR MIND IN HIM includes over 70 biblical affirmations. All the references are provided in order on the final track.
Even if you use this learning tool – Please, Please, Please, open the Word of God and look up the ‘In Him’, ‘In Christ’ verses and highlight and underline them. Read them from your Bible. Burn them in your mind and seal them on your heart. Faith’s confessions create realities.
I want to note that these verses may not seem real to you at first. But they are real in the spirit realm already, and continued faith and confession will make them real in the physical realm.
It’s only a matter of time, after you start to meditate, ponder, speak, confess, read, think on, consider, and affirm these scriptures, until you discover the life transforming power of Who You Are – What You Are – and What You Have, In CHRIST!
I guarantee you, your life will change. As you begin to replace the junk you’ve allowed to fill you mind with, and choose to make your dominating and controlling thoughts become what the Word of God says about you – let’s just say, you are about to discover - with God nothing is impossible!
Mark my words, these powerful affirmations from God’s Word will get planted into your heart and spirit as you meditate and speak them. Daily confession helps them take root and grow in your spirit and your life. Soon the manifestation of these promises will begin to appear in your life and bear fruit.
The simple fact of the matter is this: Life will take on a whole new meaning as you continue to discover and grow in the knowledge of Who You Are – What You Are – and What You Have, in CHRIST JESUS!
And now, I pray that the peace of God, which passes all understanding, may keep your hearts and minds in CHRIST JESUS! (Philippians 4:7)
May you be blessed to be a blessing!
Soar higher in Him –
God bless you,
