ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Great Caesar's Ghost is a band of of seven accomplished musicians that give their interpretation of great american music. Much like jazz and classical musicians, they strive to re-read the great compositions of decades past. Included in their repertoire is original music and selections from the blues and rock oriented music of the late sixties and early seventies era. This includes The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, many of the Blues Masters, and more. GCG's sound is generated by three guitars, bass, a Hammond B-3, congas, timbales, and dual drum kits, which capture the true spirit of the music that they play. For those who like jam oriented blues/jazz/rock, Great Caesar's Ghost will not dissapoint."

Great Caesar's Ghost has received national airplay on XM RADIO for the past four years and has quickly begun building a national following. CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE!!

It's been a long time since I've bought a CD since my housemate has so many I think we have to add an addition to our house. Wow! did I ever make the right choice here!! You can thank XM Radio because if it weren't for their Deep Tracks show, I'd have never known you existed. Popped it in the car the day it arrived a week ago and haven't taken it out since (or listened to anything else). You guys do great justice to the originals, but add just the right GCG jam to make them your own. Congratulations!!!

Hey guys, this is the best double cd i have heard in a long time. The music is great and the jams consistent. What more could a music lover ask for? Keep on jamming and rock on

Best cd i have heard in awhile. The jams are spot on and the rythum flows like water. Too bad for the people that never hear something like this. You keep cranking this kinda stuff out and i'll get it. Thanks so much. Waylesh
