ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
When Greg Abate met Dave Brubeck at the Rimouski Jazz Festival in Quebec in the 1970's, he knew that his music would never be the same. His love and respect for Dave's work have positively influenced his music ever since. This album includes five of Dave's favorite pieces arranged by Greg and Mike Levine. In addition, there is an original piece by Greg celebrating his time at Rimouski and two pieces by Mike Levine. Dave liked to play Rogers and Hart's "Blue Moon", so a spirited arrangement was also recorded.
