ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Round One" the rare British import debut CD from Gregg Wright, is now available in a "Limited Edition" re-release!

Recorded in England in the mid '90's, "Round One" is a powerful first statement from the man music journalists call "The new King of Rockin' Blues Guitar!!!" A British journalist's mid '90's review of Gregg's debut CD says: "Gregg Wright plays guitar like nobody's business!!!!! He strings his guitar in normal right-handed fashion, but plays left handed, upside down, awesomely! His backing band play with a style and precision not often heard, while Gregg takes you on a whirlwind trip of guitar expertise!"

Jimi meets Walter Trout, (unlikely), all sounds a bit retro to me
I really wanted to be excited by this, but it's early Jimi meets Walter Trout, a strange collision with a not too substantial result. Never mind, eh? It's a damn sight better than the shite on offer elsewhere.
