Album Notes
texas rock trio gringospiclimey features original compositions from gringo (dave wheeler, guitars, vocals,usa---spic(ricardo boye, drums, chile) and limey (neil harrison, basses, great britain). heavy, sometimes qiurky songs displaying unique chord progressions, vocals, and arrangements with a flair for tempo changes. band has influences from the beatles to nirvana, with complete disdain for today's rock radio scene. if you like fenders and gibsons, marshall and vox, eight and twelve strings of bass, and thunderous ludwigs, you'll love's meant to be played loud in home or mobile. songs contain topics like living on anti-depressants, dealing with pressure, meeting the love of your life, and finding you've become someone you'd rather not be...when playing, the band likes to consume its favorite tequila beverage they call gsl juice.

we've discovered how difficult it is to get your music out there....even when you think there's somebody that can help, it ends up a dead many times have I heard "I know some people!!!" ....truth is, they don't know anybody...I even know some people that work for warner bros. and paramount and have asked them to leave it on whoever's desk....maybe we could get a track in a movie...fuck no, nothing happens...I'm not the kind of person to pester people...anyway, please help, we made a bunch of these, and I feel like you'll find something on this record you'll like....stop the clear channelling of america!!!!!!.....dave

Love That Hidden Track!!!
Dave's rhythm guitar is infectious - gets under your skin and refuses to let go. Great example of a great Texas garage band. This CD kicks ass!! Crank it up and enjoy it with some 'o that GSL juice.

It is a great CD! Easy to listen to and sing along! WOW!!!
Very good musical and vocal interest. It gets better each time you listen!

This CD is Real. It Breathes. It Rocks. It Breaks. It Slaps. It Loves. It's Aliv
This CD is real. It is original, made by real men, with real experiences of personal celebration and desperation. The words in their songs show they have lived and felt LIFE, its ups and downs, and faced it head on. Track 3, BREATHE, is my favorite by far. It's undulatingly rhythmic bass line literally breathes, while the lyrics send a spiritual and motivational message from which we can all benefit.

Hidden treasure in a real rockin' CD.
Like Janis said, the songs are like WOW! They rocked and they rolled. But this is no sing-a-long, Barry-friggin-Manilow easy listening CD. It has earthy soul and big balls. And check out the hidden track buried behind the last offering. It blends!

Really great!
I really liked this CD. I got it from one of my friends at school. "She's My Baby" is really a great song! For sure! Really!

no bs, just great rock
Like I said, this album is no bs, just straight up great rocking. Make sure to check out the track "Love is All About."
