ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Grupo Energia is a fast-rising, showband, that brings high-powered music (Cumbias & Rancheras), a unique style, on-stage moves, and of course energy. This band comes to get the party started everytime they take the stage. Finishing their 8th year together, and having exposure in Michigan,Ohio,Indiana,Illinois,Florida,Texas,Idaho and also Mexico , Grupo Energia is about to release their first cd with many more to come. This cd consists of hip-shaking Cumbias, which are sure to make you dance, with a dab of Ranchera. T.J. Flores, the lead singer of Grupo Energia and creative bass player, knows how to work a crowd like no other. He is a masterfull songwriter with creative ideas. On the squeezebox is Luis, adding a high powered flavor to the accordion. While adding the second vocals, Luis is a creative accordion player in which his fingers are all over making a beautiful sound. Finally, the backbone beat of the band is the versatile Raul Cervantes. He is a unique drummer who can play Cumbias while adding a reggae spice. While he's not on the drums, Raul can step up and play a mean saxophone for the crowd.
