Album Notes
After almost 40 years of stage, a number of albums adn CDs as a sideman, "Des hauts et des bas" offers a nice condensate of what makes Guillaume Petite's performances one of the Paris blues scene highlights.
The keyword is blues, but thanks to the participation of five superb musicians (Sulaiman Hakim, from LA, and Chris Henderson from Philly, Stan Noubard Pacha and Hamed Barry, two authentic Parisians, and Pierre Chabrèle, from the french Carribeans) with different background, blues mates here with R&B, Jazz of Funk ( and even, in one occasion, with the "classical" repertoire)
