Dose/Disc One prepares you to quit. It helps you make small and comfortable behavioral changes that set the stage for a successful quit. While you are still smoking, the hypnotic trancework is nourishing your subconscious mind with potent ideas and hypnotic suggestions. You take doses of Disc One daily until the desired effect (being absolutely ready to successfully quit). Upon quitting, follow immediately with Dose/Disc Two, taking as many doses as needed each day until cured of tobacco addiction.

Dose/Disc Two contains three separate trancework sessions designed to reinforce your comfort, confidence, and determination to enjoy your achievement as a nonsmoker. One trancework is short (about the time it takes to smoke a cigarette) and is designed to give your a 'refreshment break' whenever you feel the desire to use tobacco. Another is about twenty minutes long and is designed to powerfully reinforce your comfort while delivering hypnotic suggestions to maintain the behavioral changes and to evoke potent post-hypnotic responses. Two years later and smoke-free!
Like another reviewer, I too am writing this review two years later. I wanted to make it to the two year mark before I gave myself the "All Clear" sign. I did it. I did it! Two years later and I am smoke-free. It was effortless and has made so many other "tranceformations" in my life. And here is the best part: I have actually lost weight and re-gained my vitality. This album saved my life!
Without a doubt, you have to be motivated to quit. That is, you have to want to quit to experience success. The negative reviewer above missed the point entirely... and missed out. For me, I used Disc 1 for 6 weeks. Each week I made tiny changes as recommended and suggested hypnotically. By the sixth week, I was ready to take the leap away from cigarettes once and forever. That is when you begin Disc 2. I used Disc 2 for one month. It is as if I never smoked. It has now been one year and I have never felt better. Whenever I have a rare thought about a cigarette or feel tempted in any way, I just listen to one of the three tracks on disc 2 (usually the ten minute one) and I am back on track, safe and securely protected from an old addiction that is no longer a part of my life. Every smoker should use this system... it is flawless!

Quit smoking
I have not tried the quit smoking CD's but will as soon as I can afford it. I truely believe that mind over matter equals success in anything you do. I do know of many family members who lived with terminal cancer because of ther attitude which was soooo positive that their so called death sentence lasted years above their doctor's expectations. I hope to try this product soon and will up-date you all on my opinion of it.

Never thought I would be smoke free
I was 57 years old and told my kids to plan on burying me with a cigarette in my mouth because I would never quit. At about the same time, the cough that would sometimes come out of me was embarassing, as well as concerning.........and in the back of my mind, I could not stop tabulating the amount of money I would save, if only I could quit. Problem was, I TRULY did not want to. Dr. G's cd was recommended to me and I thought 'what the heck'. I began to listen daily and something started to happen. I became EXCITED about quitting. I set the date and couldn't wait for it to come.
From that point, I went on to cd #2, and have been a non-smoker now for 8 months. No weight gain.......and none of the usual things we do when trying to quit smoking (like checked ashtrays and tearing the house apart in search of just 'one') Dr. G made it clear that I could not have that 'just one'.
I remain a non-smoker and have put away nearly 900.00.
Don't doubt this - just please try it.

Helped overcome psychological addiction to cigarettes as well as physical addict
This really works! If you have really decided that you want to quit smoking, here is the tool that can help you quit for good. I have been smoke-free for a year and a half...yeah, maybe I'm a little late in submitting a review. Quitting smoking was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I think most of all this program helped me overcome my psychological addiction to cigarettes which for me was much harder to deal with than the physical addiction to nicotine. I found the 10 minute "refreshment break" especially helpful, and I used it several times a day for the first couple weeks. Once I was able to "induce" that deep relaxation on my own, I became less dependent on Dr. G's direction, although I continued to listen to the daytime and bedtime doses regularly for over a month. Don't get the idea that the only thing you have to do is listen to the CDs and you will suddenly stop smoking. Doing the prep work as outlined in dose 1 is also critical to success. Stay with dose 1 as long as needed - until you are really ready. Then go for it! I can honestly say that I feel great and I am truly proud of myself.

This is the real deal... no hype, just real.
I tried other hypnosis methods, including group and individual sessions with a therapist. This one is the real deal. The advice is sound, practical, easy, and IT WORKS! It is not a quick 60 second fix, for you have to be motivated and willing to put it into action for yourself. I have not had any temptation, no cravings, and have enjoyed the benefit of greater confidence and inner peace. This one has been the one that worked for me. I highly recommend this audio above all others.

way too wordy, making 2 CDs out of 1/2
The authors sell a pack of two CDs, one of which has pep talk and common-sense material that's just almost mindless chatter. The second CD has the hypnotic suggestions. Perhaps this is good clinical hypnosis practice and perhaps it's not, I don't know. There is no music background, which helps in other meditation tapes. The demands of the method are high, you are doomed to listen to this guy again and again for 28 days. I wonder whether people can quit smoking this way or just quit listening to anything ever again. The CD does not list any research data on the method.
