It is estimated that 20 to 50 percent of all women may have fibroids, which are benign tumors of the uterus. They may grow on or within the uterine wall or in the uterine cavity. Christiane Northrup, MD (Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom) and Caroline Myss, PhD, feel that fibroid tumors represent a woman's unborn or suppressed "creativity" that accumulates through life and relationships. Although most women do not have symptoms from their fibroids, those that do may be very uncomfortable and distressing. Symptoms usually include extremely heavy periods resulting in anemia and fatigue. The good news is that fibroids are almost never cancerous. Less than one in a thousand may produce a very rare type of cancer. The major problem is the bleeding and their tendency to grow (but not always). Often a hysterectomy is recommended to remove the uterus and fibroids, but studies have shown little justification for surgery in the majority of cases.
This audio program uses medical hypnosis to access the mind-body connection to offer hypnotic suggestions, powerful healing images, and discovering insights for healing the fibroids without any invasive measures. It is no secret that the power of the mind and subconscious can influence our physical bodies in ways that can hurt or heal. This audio instructs and gently guides the listener through the trancework that is rich with ideas, suggestions, and imagery for healing. This also includes imagery of a wisdom figure performing a healing ritual.
