ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The blue collar beach town of Oxnard, California was epicenter to one of the most active underground music scenes of the 1980s. Mixing hardcore, metal and skate influences, bands from the Nardcore scene created some of the most enduring punk classics of the era. Now straight from the musical tomb comes this long lost EP from early Nardcore band Habeas Corpus. Recorded to sell on the band's 1986 tour with Agression, very few copies of the original EP are known to exist. Six Feet Under Oxnard features drummer Mike Minnick, who would later go on to play with both Ill Repute and Agression. A cyclone blend of So Cal surf punk and Misfits-style gore, this collection offers a glimpse back at the early days of one of the great American hardcore scenes. 10% of the profits from this release will be donated to animal charities.
