Album Notes
This is an homage to the bands we love and the groups that inspire us, from brass bands like Youngblood and Dirty Dozen, to New Orleans acts like Bonerama and Dr. John, to straight-ahead cats like Horace Silver.

In addition to the regular Half Dozen Brass Band lineup, "Cold Six" features the talents of Rand Lines on piano and Ryan "Manito" Wendel on congas. Of special note is "Song for My Father," arranged especially for HDBB by Dave Eskridge, horn arranger for Tower of Power.
