ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Learning Basic Skills Through Music - Volume 2 1969

A companion CD to Learning Basic Skills Through Music - Volume 1, this recording introduces ten colors, numbers to twenty, telling time, and reading readiness.

The arrangements continue the uncluttered, under produced style of Learning Basic Skills Volume I. The directions are easy to understand and follow. This unique primitive treatment has appealed to early childhood educators for many decades.

Recorded in 1969 on an 8-track magnetic tape machine at Hollywood Sound Recorders.

Credits:

Hap Palmer
I just love the range of Hap Palmer CD's. I use them in my classroom for the development of so many different skills, and I know my young son will grow up to enjoy them too. Thanks for the chance to share is something so wonderful.

I had the LP and replaced it with the CD. It is a must have for a kindergarten classroom. The kids love it!

Love it! Hap Palmer is a favorite in our family!
Hap Palmer is great because my children are always moving while listening to his music. The songs are very interactive and they learn things as they listen. Also, he teaches listening skills, which are so important for preschoolers (and adults!).

BEST EVER!
I teach first grade, and bought this CD exclusively for the Paper Clocks song, which is about the cutest thing I've ever heard! I plan to use the rest of the CD to do some practice with my kiddos on other skills. My kids keep asking when we are going to sing the clock song again.
