Harmony Ridge Bluegrass is based on a love of music and the enjoyment of making music together. Distinctive, soulful singers and strong three and four-part harmonies often provide an uplifting and sometimes emotional experience for the listener. "I Believe" is their debut album and represents their deep love of gospel, classic country and smooth bluegrass music.
Tommy Mabry is the mandolin player (and sometimes guitar) and lead vocalist for HRB (you’ll also here his natural, pure tenor on many of HRB’s songs). Tommy has a passion in his voice that connects with the listener, and the title song "I Believe" is just one that will touch your heart.
Linda Moon plays the upright bass for HRB, sings some lead, and provides the high harmony on many of the HRB songs. You'll hear Linda singing lead on "When the Angels Sing" that has become a fan favorite in their live performances.
Randy Moon is the rhythm guitar player and also provides some lead vocals for HRB. Randy takes the lead on "Coal Minin' Man" that he makes his own and the crowds love.
Billy Don Garner is the lead guitar on most of the songs on this album, but you will also hear his lead mandolin turns in "Erase the Miles" and "Coal Minin' Man". You will hear Bill singing third-part harmony on most of the songs on this album.
HRB is based out of Rusk, Texas and currently performs at East Texas venues, festivals and churches featuring gospel and bluegrass music. For more information about the band, check out our website and facebook page. We would love for you to become a fan!
