Hayden is a native of Texas who currently resides in Lubbock, which he is proud to call home. Hayden began writing and playing his own music in his early twenties, playing acoustic gigs whenever he got the chance and has now put together a very talented group of musicians to travel from show to show. He contributes his love for music to a songs' ability to capture the hearts' emotions, and share them with whomever will listen.
As a writer Hayden puts into words pieces of his life, as well as others' in hopes that the listener can somehow relate to his stories. The composition of his music has a very distinct West Texas originality that he contributes to living in such a wide open, beautiful part of Texas. His biggest influences come from the “poet style” writers such as Guy Clark, Kris Kristofferson, John Prine and Townes Van Zandt just to name a few.
Hayden's debut album “Hayden Huse” gained him a reputation as a legitimate songwriter by his peers in the Texas Music scene. His new album “Clairemont Jail” is set to be released in March of 2013 and is quickly grabbing radio traction and notoriety for this relative newcomer.
