ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hope DeBates was raised on a farm in Moody county, South Dakota with three brothers, and four sisters. Music was encouraged in their home, and all of them played instruments and sang as well. Listening to the radio was a big part of her childhood, and one can hear her many infuences on this recording. Many of the songs tell stories that relate to past and present experiences, as well as share Hopes witty and engaging sense of humor through the observations she\'s made since arriving in NYC in 1986.
