Album Notes
This CD started as a collaboration between Alex Brofsky and Michael Slattery and brings together many great musicians.

The music in this finely blended collection of original songs include strong vocals from Michael Slattery with powerful arrangements that draw upon Alex Brofsky's roots in classical music as well as his background in pop, jazz and hip-hop.

Since graduation from Juilliard Michael Slattery (Tenor) has enjoyed an exciting international career as a tenor soloist. He has worked with the New York Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Los Angeles Philharmonic, Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival, The French National Orchestra in Paris, Orchestra of St. Lukes at Carnegie Hall, Bach's B Minor Mass with Ivan Fischer and the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, The Tristan Project with the L.A. Phil at Lincoln Center, the Title Role in Bernstein's Candide at Royal Festival Hall in London and Montiverdi's L'Orfeo at the Chatelet Theatre in Paris. He was recently included in The Spectator's "Heros of the Concert Hall."

Alex Brofsky (French Horn / Keyboards / Programming / Production) - performed and recorded with Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Quincy Jones, Lenny Kravitz, Michael Brecker, Gil Evans, Jim Hall and many other of the world's greatest jazz musicians.

Other musicians on this CD include Abe Fogle- Drums (Rob Thomas), Konrad Adderley- Bass, I, Storm - Rhymes, Roger Tapping - Viola (formerly of the Takacs Quartet), Natasha Brofsky - Cello (Peabody Trio), Katie Murphy and Cordelia Brofsky-Tapping - Voice.
