Only a handful of artists possess the intangible quality that allows them to reach past the boundaries of the musical style to touch our inner soul.
Eric Henderson has been touching souls for many years with his unique ability to communicate with his guitar. Since he first picked up the instrument at the age of six, it was clear that Eric had a calling.
At age thirteen, Eric Henderson was invited to Spain to soon become one of only three people to study privately with master guitarist Andres Segovia. Having logged close to ten European and nine U.S. tours as well as a tour of Russia and the Orient, Eric has returned to his hometown of Laguna Beach, California where he resides with his wife, Prof. Virginia Mann. He spends his time composing, advancing his guitar technique, and teaching.
Eric has recorded numerous albums, including Cathedral Heights, Castillian Nights, Faces, All My Soul, Encore, and Guitarra, featuring a variety of classical styles as well as his own unique contemporary compositions.
Eric Henderson's eclectic influences, which range from Jimi Hendrix to Johann Sebastian Bach , are given a further twist when combined with his love for flamenco guitar. This CD entitled "My Favorites in a collection of Eric’s favorite classical and original compositions re-recorded for your enjoyment.
