by Hero for Nothing

Hero for Nothing is a rock band. The members of "HFN" do not claim to have found a way to transcend genre or create a "truly unique sound." They instead simply ask that you look at their influences, listen to their music and form your own opinion.

Album Notes
Hero for Nothing is a five-piece original rock act, formed in January of 2002. Its members have been in and out of cover bands and original projects together for the better part of a decade, with the exception of guitarist Dave Kiyak, who auditioned and joined the band in early 2005. Over the past two years, they've tallied close to 100 shows at venues such as Club 218, Grape Street Philadelphia, and Asbury Park's legendary Saint. Their music has been played on 89.7 WGLS FM (Rowan University Radio) and several Internet radio stations, including Grape Street Radio and scrubradio.com. They've been featured as up-and-coming artists to watch in both the Asbury Park Press (7/1/05) and The Courier-Post (8/26/05).

Hero for Nothing is influenced and inspired by:
Led Zeppelin, U2, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, WOP, STP, The Beatles, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ben Folds Five, Wilco, Coldplay and Sublime
