ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hot on the heels of 2004's PARADISE, HVG started writing new songs. The new material pointed toward a new unashamedly simple approach. The driving adrenaline rush of classic pop merges with uncompromising atmospherics on HVG's new CD, GET UP. Killer hooks are served up with relentless grooves, stabbing bass and a burnt sugar guitar wash. Their trademark lush vocals are in the service of even more direct and personal song craft. Enjoy.

sweet melodic music to my ears!
i'm proud to say that i own all of the HVG cds and although i think they are all amazing, i would say that is is my most favorite one.
the songs are all very beautiful and very melodic but still rockin' in the way that only HVG knows how to do!!!!
