ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With it's hymns to grass, passionate kiss offs and songs about fireflies, Her Vanished Grace's new CD, TWILIGHT, pushes their new wave/ shoegaze pop into deeper, more nuanced territory. Charlie and Nance's whirlwind of vocals and shower of guitar sparks are once again driven by the high octane power of Maria and Billy's bass and drums. This bracing 10 song set was recorded in a two week frenzy in August of 2007 and crackles with a breathless spontaneity. The shimmering songs soar and murmur with cinematic images that are equal parts adrenaline and introspection. Sounding utterly new yet somehow timeless, TWILIGHT reminds us of an era when music could be powerfully anthemic and seductively cool all at once.
