ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is House of broken Promises debut single "The Hurt"(paid my dues) and a track from German band Duster 69 "Going into Red" on limited edtion vinyl(666 copies European, import). What started out being three guys from the legendary stoner rock band, Unida - fronted by former KYUSS lead singer John Garcia, came a new-melodically charged, heart-felt, passionate three piece band called House of Broken Promises or H.O.B.P. for short.songwriter and guitarist Arthur Seay, drummer and backing vox Mike Cancino, bassist and main vox Eddie Plasciencia.Unida released it's debut EP "THe Best of Wayne-Gro"which became an instant cult classic in the US and especially in Europe.
Unida had released their next stoner classic on the Mans Ruin imprint titled Coping With the Urban Coyote. The strength of that release attracted the interest of mega rock-producer Rick Rubin and they were signed to his American Recordings/Island Def Jam. The record they recorded for American was never released due to politics -sadly, but that prompted guitarist Arthur Seay to put together HOBP.

Arthur Seay, the House's principal songwriter, is a master guitar player who commands the stage with a driving force of attitude and musicianship.Arthur is definetly bringing guitar playing back to rock and metal!Eddie(bass, main vox)who's vocal's are being compared to the style of James Hetfield (Metallica)and Mike form a solid storming rhythm section their grooves and execution are so solid and tight you would think they are one in the same, Put the three together and you have a powerhouse rock, metal band with extraordinarily strong and melodic songs.

HOBP are now in the process of recording their new Record as a Power Trio with Eddie and Arthur taking main vox and Mike adding backup Vox creating a uniqe style of heavy melodic groove ladden rock! The new full length album will be out 2008.
