Album Notes
After having worked with some of the most noted musical producers from across the world, Tozé Santos had the pretention of recording his own solo project.
In 2000 a band called bLUNDER released the self-titled album, that had been producer by English Superstar Mick Glossop, after which Tozé´s life and careerhad changed substantially but for good!
The band Toured for 10 years, collected awards and consideration from a large spectrum amount of fans but, in the meantime Tozé gathered another collective of musicians, named with a "7" for reference of having been created on the 7th day of July 2007. PER7UME got nothing less than the Portuguese single of the year 2008. nomination for the golden globes, MTV band of the year and an unpair tour across the country and the Portuguese communities throughout the world.
Now Tozé has picked up the old desire and ambition of recording his own album with concept, recording all instruments and evolving the concept to be amasterpiece that comprehends the record, a movie and a book, due to be released on 12/12/12.
"Homem dos 7 Instrumentos" (man of the 7 Instruments) is because it´s the artist´s project, where he leads all the roles with the purposes of explaining the concept of the efemerous ways of living, but also of spreading the roots of Portugal, with springs of Fado and folk.
Aiming to be able to tell his story in chant, Tozé wants to be the world´s troubadour.
