Words are not enough...
The words are not enough to describe how I feel about this album. Just last week I ordered a copy, and now I only have one regret: why did I not purchase this sooner? I am mostly at home with my youngest son and, as a mom, even though I love my children, they can be stressful sometimes. But this CD helps me relax; I play it over and over again. I got my husband a copy, so he can listen to it in the car; I got my dad a copy; and I am thinking about giving one to a friend. When I listen to the CD, I think about my country and my family back home. Hugues Sanon did a great job; I cannot wait for his next album.

"Ayiti Nan Ke-m" : A perfect combo
If it is not the saxophone, it is the piano; when it is not the piano, then it is the drums. But from one title to the next, it seems as though each song was purposely recorded to capture the attention of the listener from start to finish. The artist shares a passion for music and has a devotion to country that can honestly be felt throughout every single one of his songs... "Ayiti Nan Ke-m" is not just some mere compilation of songs about Haitian suffering, it is a living testimony that truly redefines what a music collection is really all about.

"Ayiti Nan Ke'm" is a must-have
This album is not only rich in sounds and in culture, but there is a certain poetry about the language that makes it particularly attractive. And the fact that Hugues Sanon called upon the talented female vocalist as Melanie J.B. Charles and the legendary Haitian Jazz icon Boulo Valcourt to work with him on this project, makes it even more appealing... After having listened to only a few songs, I soon realized that this was not the work of an amateur. “Ayiti Nan Kè-m” is not only a great collection to personally own, but it is a great collection to give to friends and to family as well.
