ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bio 101: We are an synth-rock band that combines the energy and live performance of a rock band with the driving dance beats of electronic music. From the inspiration of dozens of science documentaries the foundation of HYD was born.

Jaron began creating instrumental electronic music in 2010, but when he put lyrics to the song "The Strings That Hold Us" in January of 2011, the concept began to take form. Jaron joined up with percussionist Aaron Seale, and the two of them began to play gigs in Memphis Tennessee where they were located.

The goal of the bands live performance is to spread joy and hope by implementing somewhat childish antics such as hand fulls of bouncy balls and bubble guns to make the show a unique experience. Lyrically Jaron tries to question things, and delve into the connection between science and faith, and to encourage people to seek for truths in the world.
