ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Their latest release "The Middle of Somewhere", continues to showcase their unique vocal harmonies, and gives the listener a look into the pains, pleasures, loves and losses of their personal lives. There is a new maturity in their songwriting, which can only be attained by a great deal of life experience.
Joined by producer/musician Todd Bowie, the duo explores new vocal territory, which serves to enhance the already engrossing lyrical content. From the whimsical "The Dew Drop Inn", a story about the patrons of a small country bar on a rainy afternoon, to the poignant "Ghost Town", a haunting tribute to the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear accident, this new CD will touch the hearts of listeners unlike anything else Huns & Dr. Beeker have ever recorded.

"The Dew Drop Inn" is amazing! It simultaneously provokes both nostalgic and positive anticipatory feelings within me.

South Africa
Great song, altho my eyes were closed when I listened to it, they opened up as the song progressed...loved every millisecond of it !! Keep up the good work...

Nashville
I downloaded "Cry Me A River" from ITunes. Awesome sound guys! Come play in Nashville!

Novia Scotia
I have been a host parent for a Chernobyl child for the past 5 years. I think of my Katia everyday while she is back in Belarus and your song made me homesick for her. She arrives in NS on june 13th!! The Atlantic provinces hosts over 60 children from Belarus that are affected by Chernobyl every summer. Come and give us a concert in NS sometime when the kids are here (june-august) our group can help you with the details!!!

North Carolina
I heard your song 'Ghost Town' for the first time today. It's hauntingly lovely and it touched me deeply.
Play on.

Nice
I first heard about Huns and Dr Beeker from (E)lena Filatova's website about the Chernobyl exclusion zone. "Ghost Town" a good song, haunting but with a catchy melody. I decided to look up the group and found this site, this album, and the previews convinced me to buy it.

Most of the songs on this CD kick tail.

BTW this CD appears to be free of DRM and intentional defects so you don't have to worry about rootkits or messed up CD drives or anything like that.

it gets better with every listen
I have a half hour drive to work. I listen to the first half on the way in. And the second half on the way back home. If they'd let us play music at work, I'd listen to it during the day. Huns & Dr. Beeker are top-notch recording artists. I've heard them on the radio. And when their next cd comes out, I'll buy it.

Owesome
This is a great CD. I have been listening to it for two weeks now, and I am still not tired of it.

Sounds throughout are absolutely great! Reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkl. Ghost Town is beautifully done and so moving. Our daughter was an exchange student in Germany at the time of Chernybol. Be proud, very proud. Joeann

really good record
check out Ghost Town! Their music almost sounds like something I've heard before. But, it sounds brand new. Are these two brothers? The Middle of Somewhere is a cd I can listen to over and over again. I almost know it by heart. It's GREAT music.

This cd is so good! Best I've heard for my taste.
I grew up listening to James Taylor, Eagles, and Jackson Browne. Joni Mitchell is one of my absolute faves. These guys are like that, they have really great music. I found a link to them on a website about the Chernobyl tragedy. Elena, who's website it was, had a song called Ghost Town, from their Middle of Somewhere cd. If you listen, you'll hear what I mean.
