ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Funny bunny recording artists, Ian Gott Quartet?, have a progressive indie pop sound that is often compared to O.A.R and Dave Mathews Band. Their live show is an inclusive dance party that rocks the night away with moments of explosively frenetic performance juxtaposed with sweeping dramatic gestures. Their music is the marriage of, innovative singer songwriter Ian Gott’s solo acoustic works, with Benito Vena’s award winning sax performance. The rhythm section of Roc and Leed, forge new ground in manualist drumming and linear bass playing respectively, and provide a driving pop rock back bone as well as frequently standing out as solo performers in their own right. The Quartet caused quite a stir in their home market, earning their following playing all over southern Colorado. Fresh from the studio, they produced their first record "Vs. the EP" in October 2010, a for the fans short run prospectus on what 2011’s full length album promises. With their sights set on great things, the Quartet, are currently booking a Mid-West tour in order to take their unique party on the road.
