ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The music of Silverfish is inspired by my love for cuisine and cooking. Combining the various styles of music and relating them to food and dishes, Silverfish is music for every dining occasion.

From the smooth jazz of "Sauvignon", to the rock pop of Asian influences of "Ginger", music is akin to food in the many styles and influences from the different regions of the world. "Chendol" reflects the brightly smooth pop of an Asian dessert while "Sashimi" evokes a Japanese sense of funk and fusion.

Silverfish is unique in the way it was written, performed and recorded and produced entirely using an iPad, and utilising only the musical instruments provided in Apple's GarageBand, it is one of the first, if not, the first instrumental music album to be recorded in this manner.

Equally unique is that Silverfish is focused on the theme of food, which I believe is also a first of its kind. I hope you will enjoy the music of Silverfish as much I have making it.
