InCircles plays a fruity, blood-spattered blend of punk, blues and old fashioned rock n' roll; their music will have you clawing your face off in sheer ecstasy.
Lead singer Jewlee is a heavy-hitting singer, a cross between Jim Morrison, Patti Smith and Kurt Cobain with a singular lead and rhythm guitar style that powers this amazing trio. Years of practice from the earliest times of their lives, bass player Eric Ponto and drummer Tyler Allen have sharpened their band, InCircles into a finely tuned rock 'n roll machine . Audiences
are packing local clubs in NY and on their homebase of Long Island.
The band is pleased to announce the March, 2013 release of “YoungBlood”, our first full-length LP on MonkMusic Records.
Digital downloads and physical CDs (remember artwork?) will be available from CD Baby, Itunes and all other digital outlets. A limited vinyl pressing will also be available featuring the 11 original songs produced and mixed by the multiple Grammy award-winner Cynthia Daniels
After years of gaining cult status in the punk world by releasing popularly acclaimed self-produced EPs, we are launching a support tour beyond the reaches of our NY hometown.
InCircles got its start in 2005, formed by bass player Eric Ponto and guitarist/lead singer Jewlee. During the tween years, we played our fair share of birthday parties, high school auditoriums, battles of the bands (most of which we won, suckas!!) awkward fancy restaurant and any other venue that would let us in.
InCircles has become a huge voice and indomitable presence on Long Island and in New York City, ruling on the rock side of the East End music community performing at Guild Hall, Bay Street Theatre, The Stephen Talkhouse and the Whaler's Church. The band is in radio rotation on NPR stations and college radio around the tri-state area.
Performing the annual Punk Island festival on Governor's Island has won InCircles the hearts of millions. Along with squat houses and dive bars in our neighboring states. Coming to your town soon!
Notable releases include: Inertia (full length, 2009) and Bicycle (EP, 2012), with 4 new singles reelased in February!
