Album Notes
Hallowed Ground was In Dark Solitude's first attempt of doing an instrumental album after recording 2 full length vocal albums.
The response was better than expected. J. Lardino used all of his many influences in Classical and Movie Score music to create Hallowed Ground. The album can be showcased on Halloween; or enjoyed every day of the year to get lost in the dark under world of sorrowful tones. IdS uses many unique and processed sound effects to get an abnormally dark sound. His use of using minor keys to compose and over processed guitars and synthesizers creates a chilling blend.
Listen to the album 100 times; and you will hear odd sounds 10000 different times in 10000 different ways. Listen with headphones to hear the hidden effects hard panned to the very left and right... and sneak up and grab you dead center.
This album is great to read to....or create art to. It un leashes the mind. Let your senses take you away as you walk thru different realms of darkness!!!!

Hopeless addictive crush

Halloween greatness
Love it all. Somehow even though requiem to misery isn't spooky or what I would call horror like the other songs it really fits in nice. Great artist and new concept for this type of music will grow.

I found Waltz Of The Dead vid on YouTube. Music is so much better than video. I find it to be a moving album. No words, just music. Fits well into a routine of chores or cleaning my apartment to have good background music.

Waltz of the dead
Scared me! Are those EVP's in the beginning? Cool stuff.

Sounds like hell
In a GOOD way! Really moving scary music. Mezza Morte will make the hairs on your arms stand up and your blood curdle when the instruments all come in together. I jumped out of my chair!

Creepy cool
For sure my go to band for spooky fun

Oh wow.
I am scared. Waltz of the dead is creepy enough, but the I saw the video. Nothing but post mortem pics. This guy IS twisted up in the head. I LOVE IT!

Waltz of the dead is a chiller. Album is good but a little too loud compared to my other music. The songs jump out at me. I like every song but there is not really any information on this band anywhere online. Are they still around? I heard The Devils Abyss at haunted acres got hooked but no other music like this anywhere
Overall 5 star album. Creepy but not too creepy. .
