ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In-ko-khe-li means “leader” in one of the African languages spoken here in South Africa where the group is based.

Experience the raw energy of this dynamic group recorded live in the studio. This is an album that combines jazz, Afro-jazz and popular music resulting in a unique sound that will captivate you.

These exciting young musicians all come from poor, working class backgrounds and chose music to live positive lives.

They chose a positive path for themselves and hope to inspire and “lead” other young people like themselves to a better life.
