ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In This Mode's debut album 'Lunasea', is an intense collection of unrelenting, trancing rhythm, sound, melody and harmony, pulsating through the phases of the moon in a synthesized expression of the deepest parts of my psyche. Moving into the darkness returning to the light again building up to the ecstatic potency of full moon. I wanted to represent the phases of the moon in a musical format that came naturally to me, and that way was electronic dance. I believe we are all part of an intensely creative universe that naturally evolves and goes through cycles. Perhaps we forget these cycles of moving from light to dark from inner to outer in our modern life. Perhaps there is a part of us hidden away raw and intense. Maybe the emotional intensity that I believe dwells inside us could be used as a force for good in the world. Learn to be with it, watch it, grow with it, become who you truly are, a being of light and dark, not one or the other, but both, refuse to let the thought based culture of the world determine your identity, step out of the norm and embrace a bit of Lunasea.
