Album Notes
Raised in and out of Southern California, Isaiah found his passion for music at the age of 11. Starting as a self-taught musician on piano he began writing melodies and riffs till he took interest in percussive instruments; banging on plastic containers and cut-outs of cardboard drum sets. He then found his interest in guitar primarily through his uncle who was always the life of any social gathering with his guitar and insane vocal comedy.
Since then, at age 15, Isaiah has been writing songs that have always seemed catchy. His second song ever written, as well as first love song, was called Rhythm of the Orange and Blue Sandals written for his high school girlfriend of one and a half years at La Habra High School. It is on his newest E.P. (The Running Wild E.P.) but now under the title Whisper. It has become a song of a significant part in his past which he chooses not to forget even with the way the relationship ended.
Isaiah found himself leading worship at age 16 in his high school church group at Whittier Hills Baptist Church. He would say that he sort of just fell into it and next thing he knew he was leading every week on Sunday and Wednesday. Isaiah didn't find his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ until the following year at a winter camp at Hume Lake Christian Camps. He made a dedication that changed his life immensely, as well as his music. Since then, his love for music has ignited into a burning flame and he plans to live his life for Jesus Christ, hopefully pursuing music as the path his Lord has for him. He is hoping the music he writes and performs will influence everyone around him in a positive way, specifically his immediate family and close high school friends.
Today his greatest influences of music are City and Colour, Coldplay, The Civil Wars, and James Vincent McMorrow.
